If you are thinking of hiring or buying a marquee, you may find the table below helpful in choosing the appropriate size of marquee. These suggestions are based on over 5 years practical experience of hiring ans elling marquees.

As an approximate guide, each 3m x 3m (10' x 10') area of the marquee will accommodate a 5' round table seating 8-10 guests (8 is more comfortable, but 10 is acceptable if space on site for the marquee is limited).

Remember to allow some extra space for dance floors, disco, buffet, bar, reception area etc. The numbers below should be taken as the maximum possible - actual marquee capacity will vary according to accessories used and the layout chosen.
